Program Description:
The Graphic Communications and Printing Technology program is designed to prepare students for entry level employment in the Graphic Communications industry. Students will become proficient in graphic design, prepress fundamentals and offset lithography operations. The program provides hands-on training and experience in:
- Graphic Design • Typography • Layout & Design • Prepress • Computer to Plate Technology • Press Operations • Bindery & Finishing
Students will receive hands on-training in Adobe software and will learn page layout, illustration, scanning, and photo retouching. The Graphic Communications and Printing Technology lab is a full-service printing facility.

Admissions Requirements
- Schedule a basic skills assessment ($15) or provide official documentation of a basic skills exemption to your program counselor/advisor.
- Schedule an appointment with your program counselor/advisor for basic skills assessment results and/or a program specific orientation.
- Register for classes during open enrollment. Program registration runs on a first come, first served basis.

*Students enrolled in distance and/or hybrid programs must have daily access to a computer with internet and a valid email address that they check daily. Additionally, students must have all necessary hardware and software components required by their program.

Class: Monday – Thursday, 8:30am – 12:30pm and Online: 14 hours/week
